Why do we call ourselves Twelve21? Well, the easy answer is that our company was born on December 12th, 2021. The long answer is something more special and personal to us, so we’ll keep that one close to our chest. The mountain in our logo is Crested Butte, which is also the name of the town where our owners Shayla and Jeremy were married!
To us, everything we do and everything we are has meaning. This is something we try to put into all of our creative works. Every shot, every sound, and every photo should have purpose, emotion, and meaning behind it. We want you to feel that same connection and importance through our work, whether it’s a commercial shoot, a luxury wedding film, or your special event. We’re here to make you feel connected.
Shayla's Story
Everyone has something that makes them tick, and for Shayla, that something is happiness. She loves to capture special, authentic moments that display genuine joy.
Whether she’s freezing moments in time in her photographs, being the behind the scenes producer, or spending time in the cutting room, Shayla takes complete command with attention to detail, attentionality, and a passion for humanity.
Jeremy's Story
For as long as he can remember, Jeremy has always felt most at home when he has the opportunity to create. Whether it’s behind the camera, on a digital canvas, or just old fashioned wiring, as long as imagination is involved, so is Jeremy.
Jeremy is also a 12 year US Army veteran, loves cinema, and is a part-time stand-up comedian.
