For more than three decades, K-State’s famed marching band, The Pride of Wildcat Land, was led by Dr. Frank Tracz. During his tenure, the marching band grew to include more than 400 members, representing more than 210 different majors. Under Tracz’ leadership, the pride was recognized as the best marching band in the nation, receiving the Sudler Trophy in 2015.
